Rolejček, Jan ; Sýkora, Karel (advisor) ; Vágner, Michal (referee)
Title: Normalization study of motoric tests deadlift and medicine ball throw overhead backwards among members of the combat support battalion. Objective: The aim of this study is to establish performance standards for the three- repetition maximum deadlift and the backward medicine ball throw overhead. The resulting standards will subsequently be used to expand the test battery for the occupational assessment in the 141st Supply Battalion. Methods: Standardized testing was employed, followed by the establishment of performance standards. The research sample of 204 participants was divided into three categories based on gender and performance groups. IBM SPSS Statistics, a statistical software program, was used for data analysis. Data normality was assessed for each category using the Shapiro-Wilk test, and graphical verification was conducted using Q-Q plots. Performance standards were created using a quartile-based calculation method, employing a four- point scale with ratings of excellent, good, satisfactory, and unsatisfactory. Results: For performance group C of males, the following standards were established for the deadlift exercise: excellent = 115 kg and above; good = 103 kg and above; satisfactory = 90 kg and above; performances lower than 90 kg are considered unsatisfactory. For...

Title: Comparison of the physical fitness of pupils in small-class schools in Benecko Elementary School, Štěpanice Elementary School, Moravec Elementary School and Vraňany Elementary School Goal of this project: The goal of this study is to compare the physical fitness of first-grade pupils in selected small-class schools in various regions in the Czech Republic and to compare their performance with the population norm in accordance with the UNIFITTEST (6-60). Method: The UNIFITTEST (6-60) standardized test has been used for the research, which serves for the assessment of the development of basic motoric skills. In total, 115 pupils have been tested in four (4) small-class elementary schools. Frequency analysis in Microsoft Excel 2016 has been used for the data analysis. Findings: The results have shown that the selected schools are on average in the overall evaluation of all disciplines according to the ten-point norm of the UNIFITTEST test (6-60) ranging from 5 to 6.5 points per pupil. After summing up, evaluating, and comparing all the tested disciplines in each of the schools, Elementary school Benecko reached the best score with an average of 6.5 points per pupil. Elementary school Štěpanice with an average of 6 points per pupil was second. Elementary school Vraňany was third with a minimal...

Comparison of lifestyle and selected health related fitness components between students of sports and students of general gymnasium
Hlinecká, Klára ; Hráský, Pavel (advisor) ; Nováková, Pavlína (referee)
Title: Comparison of lifestyle and selected health-related fitness components between students of sports and students of general gymnasium Objectives: The main objective is to compare the amount of physical activity, form of eating and spending of free time between students of sports and students of general gymnasium in the age of adolescence. Furthermore, assess whether and what is the difference between their physical fitness and body composition. Methods: The amount of physical activity, form of eating and spending of free time we recieved by written inquiries through survey based on a modified questionnaire 6. CAV 2001 for children and youth. We measured body composition by bioelectrical impedance using the device BIA 2000 M. Physical fitness monitored group was verified by six motoric tests: jumping from a distant place, sit-ups, beep test on 20m, the number of overhand grip pull-ups by boys, dwell in the overhand grip chin-ups by girls, the flamingo balance test and sit and reach test. The research sample consisted of 20 students of the sports gymnasium and 20 students of general gymnasium. Data were analyzed by using basic statistical functions and then compared. Results: It turned out that in our research group students of sports gymnasium are more physically active and proficient with more...
Monitoring of influence of individual segments of a teaching unit on physical education on fitness of girls from seventh of elememntary school
Floriánová, Linda ; Hráský, Pavel (advisor) ; Bunc, Václav (referee)
Title: Monitoring of influence of individual segments of a teaching unit of physical education on fitness of girls from seventh grade of elementary school. Aim: The aim of the empirical part is to monitor the proportional representation of the motoric activities during the time given in the lessons of physical education of the seventh grade girls, and along with the chosen methods of testing of these individuals, to prove or disprove possible influence of the composition of the P.E. lessons on the chosen segments of their fitness. Methods: Various methods were used for testing the considered sample. These were the standardized motoric tests (intense forward bend when sitting, place-jump with legs together, endurance in a pull-up, hand grip) which investigate the chosen segments of the fitness. Another method used was the bioimpedance which measures the parameters of body composition. The data were recollected quantitatively and the results were also processed quantitatively by means of statistic parameters, such as arithmetic mean, variation span and determinative deviation. Results: From the results of the work emerged that as far as the chosen motoric activities and their influence on the chosen segments of the fitness are concerned, during the time given only the segment of flexibility in...

Body composition, fitness and life style of children at the younger school age at the Liberec region
Horáčková, Jana ; Bunc, Václav (advisor) ; Dvořák, Martin (referee)
Title: Body composition, fitness and life style of children at the younger school age at the Liberec region Objectives: The aim of this work is the evaluation of the body composition of pupils at the younger school age at the Liberec region, to check their fittness and to estimate the correlation between these factors, the amount of physical activity, the way of alimentation and the way of spending their leisure time. Methods: The body composition of the set of 41 children of the age 8 and 10 years (25 boys (i.e. 61%) and 16 girls ( i.e. 39%)) was tested by the measurement on the BODYSTAT apparatus. The fitness of this set was estimated by three motoric tests: the long jump (without run-up), the shuttle run 4x10m and the staying at the over-gripped pull-up. The amount of the physical activity, the way the nutrition and the spending of the leisure time was obtained by the written questionnaire with the help of the modified Dotazník 6. CAV 2001 pro děti a mládež. Results: In the considered set of children, the overweight or obesity was estimated in the case of 10 children (i.e. 24,4%) from BMI percentil graphs and in the case of 5 children (i.e. 12,2%) according to the body fat measured by the BODYSTAT apparatus. The number of obese or overweighted children considered for percentual evaluations in...
The influence of ballistic vests for coordinating ability of the Czech Republic`s policemen
Drašil, Antonín ; Majerčík, Petr (advisor) ; Michalička, Vladimír (referee)
Title: The influence of ballistic vests for coordinating ability of the Czech Republic`s policemen. Aims: The aim of this thesis is to compare different types of protective ballistic vest with the same degree of ballistic protection within their influence on the coordination abilities of probands and the following comparisons and evaluation of results. Methods: This is an empirical thesis of observational character. The standardized motoric test for coordination skills was performed and its results were statistically processed. These data were then compared using the t-test. The comfort during using vest was also evaluated by interviewing. Results: From the measured data, it was found that the difference between two of the three tested vests was not statistically significant (Petris and Eagle). Their results were relatively balanced. Highly significant statistical difference was between these two vests and the third test vest (Global Armour). The Global Armour vest came out of the test the worst. This fact is also confirmed by the result of questioning when all ten probands evaluated better the vest Petris and nine probands evaluated better the vest Eagle, than Global Armour vest due to the comfort. I would state, that this difference is insignificant in practice due to the purposes and conditions...
